Opinion | Congress has a clear legal path to the full Mueller report
Philip Allen Lacovara and Laurence H. Tribe's April 9 Tuesday Opinion essay, " Want the full Mueller report? Open impeachment hearings.," claimed that no exception to Rule 6(e) allows release of grand jury material to the House Judiciary Committee as long as the House speaker disapproves inquiry into President Trump's possible impeachment.
I agree with @JillWineBanks here. It’s a creative reading of the “hostile acts of a foreign power” exception to grand jury secrecy, but creativity is called for now. Too bad this exception only *permits* Barr to disclose the §6(e) material to Congress. https://t.co/NZQugNDoCt
