There Comes A Time When Silence Is Betrayal

Today's letter from Adam Schiff to his Republican colleagues is a must read. It poignantly and powerfully argues that Republicans cannot stay silent in the face of the present threat to our democracy.

Last August Senator Schumer said nearly the same thing: "The price of the Republicans' Faustian bargain has already become too steep. Considerations of country & constitution aside, if my Republican colleagues remain silent, the Republican Party is a co-conspirator in the culture of corruption that surrounds this president."

But even longer ago, Martin Luther King said it most concisely, as captured in #JillsPin below:
